Recruitment in Health and Social Care, Northern Ireland
Since April 2014 recruitment within Health and Social Care (HSC) has been managed as a Shared Service by the Business Services Organisation (BSO), prior to this all trusts managed recruitment on an individual basis.
New financial and HR systems have now being implemented across HSC, including a new recruitment system, that these pages are now interfacing with. Four shared service offices have been set up across the province, including Armagh which is the centre for recruitment and selection.
The implementaion of the shared service model will increase value for money in the health and social care budget, with the money saved being taken out of administration and put into front line treatment and care.
